about

Without question, High Limiter is my most ambitious project, biggest production and perhaps the greatest achievement. It's therapy, a stream-of-consciousness journey through the mind dealing with anxiety and paranoia: exploration, self-examination, frustration and finally liberation.

The album is full of carefully placed details and is constantly changing, often with tracks leading into each other (the transition between Planetarium / Freestream being a prime example). Although it is primarily electronic and a lot of it could be categorized as ambient/downtempo/electronica/whatever you call it, there's a prominent use of guitars and/or drums in most of the tracks, as well as hundreds of additional voices and samples which contribute to different moods and textures. The most representative tracks might be "Digiheaven" and "Another Day to Waste" but all the music in between is so varied that I think a song or two are hardly a good showcase for the full album: "The Dream Machine" is perhaps the closest this album gets to 'danceable', closer "Never Come Back" is in heart-melting ambient territory, and the title track "High Limiter" is a mad mix of drum'n'bass, bright colorful synth textures and a full blown progressive metal outro.
